In the event anyone following this thread is interested, there is a group of people on Google Plus who are doing the same. Additionally there are a couple daily photo themes for posting this type of work.

Hey; love the themes idea. I think I'll try that starting tomorrow. Shoot something each day that starts with the same first letter as the day or relates to the day in some manner. (ie: Sundy=shot of 's'cripture, church spire, etc. Monday = mule, shot expressing 'blue 'm'onday,etc. )

Just got this working this evening; kinda fun. Oil Painting appears to be the only one that's really useful on its own; the others seem like they need to be combined with other effects for best effect.

I agree that the paint effect is the only one out of the box with some global value.

But, if you want to have some fun, you can make bubble heads.
