Ah, your right.. i got the files mixed up. I had a few different versions that look really similar

here is the real original shot i used, verified by the file number

LOL! I wasn't talking about files - is this a new car in addition to or replacing the orange one?

lol.. oh sorry...

I thought you meant was it a new car from one pic to another (which i guess doesnt make much sense looking back on it lol).

No, I still have my orange challenger.... this shot was of a buddys from a local car club

Im not sure my wife would let me go from a 2011 orange challenger to an older generation grey 4 door car lol

Here is some more pics of his car, some others from the club and mine if you want to check em out

No, my challenger is a 2011... the above car is a charger, which they have updated for 2012.

You can see the new Chargers here.... http://www.dodge.com/en/2012/charger/ (external link)

So yes, the above shot is of an older generation charger.

Andrew, you rock! I just can't understand how you can get so much colour and darkness into the photos, without them ending up like ****ty HDR's.

Thanks man. The secret is doing a little at a time instead of affecting the entire image all at once. Doing it this way takes more time, but the results speak for themselves. Also, stay AWAY from contrast, it robbs detail.

Nothing too drastic, but I really like the end result.

What do you guys think of it?

Nice save, was this a composite of any extra shots or just that one file?

Thanks James, no it was just one single exposure, I should have done 2-3 exposures. The shot came out pretty noisy but I figured its only for web and personal use so I wasn't too worried.

I like that rig shot with the Merc, but only thing I would change is maybe move the camera higher to get more of the car? Maybe just me, but I think that perspective would look alot better. Personally I cant wait to get a boom to start doing these kinds of shots, but dont have the money now :(

I really should have placed the camera higher I know haha, I just wanted to see what rig shots look like a few inches from the ground :P I feel this angle would fit better with an exotic car rather than a luxury car haha
