Different lights and blending (overall) is nice on the Accord pic, I think the wheels are too bright(hazy/fogy with exposure) I personally would like to see them toned down a bit.

I dont think the wheels are "too bright" at all. Any darker and detail will be lost. No body likes to have a half dark wheel :p

Ah I see what your saying. Maybe he should have included the layer with more light on them to make everything seem more evenly lit.

I did but it didn't look very good. This way it looks a little more natural.

Some of you guys are absolutely sick when it comes to PP. Wish I knew how you were doing half the things you are!

You'll never get an answer if you don't ask. ;)

Haha ohhh where to even start...Definitely going to tune in to this thread though. I'll also never learn if I don't spend more time in Photoshop :o I think that's the first step- I honestly can't remember the last time I legitimately opened an image in actual Photoshop- I usually stop at Camera Raw, mainly due to time constraints. As a result, though, I've grown quite rusty, so I think I'll resolve to spend more time in PS and trying to replicate the looks I like here and spare you all a bunch of helpless questions :)

Not my edit - I had just quoted it and made a comment - it is a good edit though!

The ONLY time I open CS5 is when I'm doing Brenizer Method panoramas. Everything else that I do is done on Lightroom4. It's just my personal preference to use, where-as CS5 is other peoples' preference. CS5 confuses the hell out of me, to be honest.

Too many people are too worried about people stealing their "secrets" to be open to helping other people. I might not be the best at processing (far from it, to be honest), but if someone asks me how I did something I'll be more than glad to go out of my way to help them figure it out.

Here's a thread devoted to sharing RAW processing. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=684360

I may not be the best, but as of late, when I have free time, I like to share what I'm decently knowledgeable on...an effort at least. I'm down to asnwer questions best I can too, granted there are far more knowledgeable peeps out thaaar

here's a before and after rig shot I took the other night.

I'd share everything I know if it weren't for two important things.

1 - I don't know what the hell I'm doing

2 - I don't remember what I did
