Car was valeted and made scratch free yesterday by a car detailer. Well pleased with results, so took a few snaps of my car.

Except for the wheels being blown out, the car itself doesn't look bad in that light. But I expect that you'll get a lot of complaints about those tilted horizons.

I know Frank, white and black isn't the easiest thing to photograph and there was no flash from left, just two at the front, so didn't have time to figure out how to save the alloys from overexposure from the sun :)

Next time, I would have moved the strobes to the front of the car. It is too dark and the wheels do not need any more light. You have some nice highlights in the body. Any other views of it? These are all roughly the same angle.

Jmartel - that's where I had them - 1 430EX II at 1/2 power pointing at front left side, and i 430 EXII pointing at front right headlight at 1/8th of power. Sun was at strongest point at that moment from the left hand side in the photo. Even if I did catch the front alloy with flash, rear one should've be fine, so I just should have tried underexposing a bit, and turned the flashes up more from the front. Never thought sun could have overexposed them that much, I really remember the flash being in an angle so it didn't catch the side.
Talking about angles, never like the standard straight shots for cars, only a few times when I prefer it, many don't like these angles, that's why we all have jobs, as many people, as many tastes :)
As I only had a few minutes before going home, did only a few shots in that place. The only other I had, was just after the detailer finished my car in his yard and as I had no PL filter, had too much reflections there:

Try exposing for the whites & lighting for the shadow detail.
