LMAO...

Does anyone have the ISO on this photo?
Shame, I think space would have been nicer in HDR.

Hey guys, go to the link, and download the full size pic. Check out the edges around the station and shuttle. Is that a crappy implementation of the Black Background, or simply the JPG effect on the photo? I may sound ultra naive, but I thought the blackness was real (meaning not photoshoped). Silly me, I guess.

At least he wasn't using a FF body, that extra magnification of the crop sensor really brings out the detail.

:p

Very good point. The FF bodies couldn't do something like this like the 1.6 crops can. He must truly be a professional knowing which camera to use. :D

What drives me nuts is, with a regular lens I have gotten blurry shots of the moon... much larger, much farther than the ones this gentleman photographed.

To me, it's an incredible accomplishment. Call me dumb, but I ran to my 40D and hugged it, and showing it the photo I said "See? This is what you can do..."

We limit ourselves so much to our equipment. I am still getting used to having ONLY a 40D. I miss the 10 fps, I miss the 45 AF points, etc. But I do have a fine device, that in the proper hands, will accomplish the task that it was designed to do. :)

Looking close, it does look as if a little photoshopping was going on. Still, it does not take away from the image or the capture.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
