Really, its better to skip 1-2 generations and buy a midrange($300-ish) card, Look at a 570 vs a 580 and tell me its really worth another $200 in performance, its barely 10fps in most games iirc

Keep in mind no matter what you spend it will probubly be obsolete at roughly the same time, If I had spent more when i got the 8800GTS i probubly would still have wanted a GTX460 or something because of DirectX 11 and etc...

yeap that's it... with technology its always a losing battle... you become obsolete very quickly... one thing to avoid it is to avoid reading review

and to be honest, I am updated on many things because I talk to you guys...

Wish I could aford to get a good IPS monitor, but I can't at this point in time. Thus, my ASUS 25.5 LCD (TN screen) will have to do. ;)

I have an ASUS 24 incher just for gaming. It's ok for games and movies but, for accurate color it's the EIZO. There are IPS panels at a good price. The Dell is one of them.

I guess another thing would be that I don't have the desk space for two monitors, nor can I mount them on the wall (crappy small office setup). One day I suppose. ;)

Either way ill be happy i mean...Personally id rather have the ultrasharp (My 2407 is awesome after all, but its WAY before IPS and probubly isnt as nice as most modern non-IPS TN panels)

yes... imagine there are no Scythe, Noctua's when I checked last week. and when I bought those Noctua fans earlier, the guy said they just arrived, he imported them directly.

I wonder how big the market is though Kenji... most gamers/enthusiast here are broke...most can only afford $400 setups and such.. (including monitors).

there is really not a very big market for these high end parts... also there is only 1 good site to find these parts as well, and the search function sucks

That's a lot of real estate to edit images. You'd be surprised.

wow!! lucky you man.. you have a parent that buys you those things...

I think the most that my parents gave me in terms of gadgets is a game & watch, and Tetris ( I dunno if you guys are familiar with this).

I never had a single gaming console in my life.. :( up until now except for the PSP
