That's a lot of real estate to edit images. You'd be surprised.

I guess another thing would be that I don't have the desk space for two monitors, nor can I mount them on the wall (crappy small office setup). One day I suppose. ;)

Honestly, you don't need a bunch of monitors to edit but, it helps with multitasking.

wow!! lucky you man.. you have a parent that buys you those things...

I think the most that my parents gave me in terms of gadgets is a game & watch, and Tetris ( I dunno if you guys are familiar with this).

I feel spoiled but yer right, im very lucky..A large bit of it is that im an only child i admit it and my parents are trying to cheer me up because of my problems...Gaming and photography are two things that keep my mind off feeling bad, and its hard to do either on my current rig...I didnt get anything for xmas really either so yeah...This is a big combo 2 xmas and birthday present for me...I am paying for a bit of it out of pocket too

and when i was young i played tetris quite a bit ;)

The only thing is you would have to minimize LR and then open up PS when working with one monitor. With a dual monitor set up, you don't have to worry about minimizing. Both can be open at the same time. Or you can edit in LR and surf POTN at the same time. :)

Jullian, I'd have to have 2 monitors if I were to get an IPS screen because I still enjoy doing alot of gaming on my PC. Should have mentioned that in the post.....hehe.
