OUCH. Sorry man. I think its an easy explanation. I would say its needed. If you have an external now sell it to off set the price of the Dell. I would say this is a one time expense. I wont be doing it again and whats good in having a great desktop if i cant see the colors correctly? Like having a car with a great engine but having crappy tires? The car is only as good as the tires its on.

OOO Asus just jumped in. I hope they force dell prices to come down as well

my poor dad got a dell a few weeks ago and was confused why it didn't come with a dial up modem, and I was confused why it didn't come with a wireless modem. He has a 3 year old macbook pro I gave him but he can't figure out how to use it. *facepalm*
