Yeah trying to get 100% everything is insanly hard. Some thing you need four people and its tough to get that. Ive tried some of the user ones. You can get additional costumes that way as some are created just for that

Oh, I didn't know that! Definitely will check it out.

By the way, does that mean that end users are creating costumes? Can I create them myself?

That's what I'm hoping for. Gotta do this this weekend.

Now your tempting me! What are the prices looking like?

So far I only checked B&H, and they're retail prices.

5DII @ $2499 + 70-200II @ $2499 - $400 instant double rebate = $4598.
Or just the 70-200II for $2299 after $200 instant rebate.
Or 70-200II + 60D and sell the 60D, so I get $400 rebate.

Aaah, decisions...

I started out real slow in the last thread, but somehow sneaked up the top ten, and then jolted to a secured fifth spot. It probably was all the food I posted, lol. Still not my best showing, though. I almost cracked 1,000 a couple threads ago.

Omar, all you need to do is always post from your phone. That way you will have an excuse for not multi-quoting while increasing your posts. ;)

Yeah you have been near 1k in the last few threads. It was only a matter of time that you would crack the top!

Shhh thats my secret weapn. The iphone

Hmm you could get a mint 70-200 mkII from here. They are always at 2k on the board. That could save you an additional 229. Just a thought :D

Ooh, good idea. I shall check. That might be better than the rebates if I find a good price.

Yes! The eligible bodies for the double rebates on lenses are 60D, 7D, 5DII, 1D4, and 1Ds3. Bonus is that 60D and 7D currently have their own instant rebates going. I think the 7D is $200 rebate.

okay, the 7D rebate actually from B&H is not true rebate because it was already selling at $1499 before the $200 Canon rebate B&H raised their listed price to $1,699 less $200 same $1,499. There will be added cost ,if we buy together, of shipping cost to Las Vegas and also I am also evaluating getting a refurbished one thru CLP for a saving of $300.

Yep, bumping the price back up to MSRP is a practice retailers use to offset rebates, sadly... Once in a while I find an item for which that does not happen. The 70-200 I have (Mk I) retailed for $1699 when I purchased it. The listed price where I got it was below $1500, plus $125 instant rebate. Nowadays I see more of the bumping up of prices during rebate period.
