Good to know. So let me pick your brain further. When i hook up this Lacie to the router it should pop up as a detected option on my computer? Im assuming this is how it would work as ive never setup a NAS to begin with.

Well.... to be entirely honest I've never setup a NAS either.

Here is a little guide from LACIE though, looks pretty basic.

yeah I figured, since I am quite far away and my connection is usually at 700-800kbps only

This is what I'm running at right now. And there's more than one computer on the system currently.

If all of us POTNers play on the same team, there is no trouble. But if we split up and go up against each other, the three of us should NOT be on the same team.

Got cable or something? I'm too far out of town to get cable. I have three options... dial-up, Roger's Rocket Stick which is cell based, or Bell Rural Wireless. We went with Bell. We have a 'dish' outside pointed towards the nearest broadcast tower. The towers have a 23km range and we're at 22kms. Our speed is the max that is available out here. Unless we want to pay for the cable company to string 5kms of fibre optic cable

There's no way Steven will be able to play with us in CS.

After travelling for work for so many years, and living off an aircard, even after moving to the states, I eventually said "**** it", and went for the fibre optics job. After enduring the crap joke I had for the internet, I am enjoying this one.
