I'm drawn to the Zeiss line up of primes atm. I'm definitely going to pick up a 50 ZM but,it's difficult to choose between the f/1.5 or f/2. According to Steve Huff, he gave approval for both. :)

JD i thought you said you hated 50mm on full frame, that's why you sold the 50 1.2 remember

humm in debate to settle for 2x2gb ddr 1333 sticks for $50 and wait for the price to drop of the 2x8gb sticks at end of the year or just get the 2x8gb sticks now while they are pretty cheap @ $100.

So I pulled the trigger on a 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM...

Time to sell the 70-200 2.8L IS Mk I, for real now. I sort of have buyer's guilt already.

good job Alex, it's a great lens your going to enjoy it

Man cant check out the link at work. Its blocked off. Ill be looking at it later from home.

Sounds like your having a nice chill morning. Wish i could say the same

When are you looking to make big moves on Leica?

Trying to have a nice chill Friday - the joy of management not being able to decide what to do next ;)

Probably sometime in the sprint after our bonuses and some stock stuff I'm thinking.

With the recent earthquake in Japan, I don't foresee prices dropping in the upcoming months. Newegg has good shell shocker deals, you just gotta know when to get them.

i'm up to 4 attempts, i loved the 50 1.2 just hate the focal length, you think it will be different cause it's leica or is it a prerequisite lens for leica

But I do...;) Anyways, if any of you have a chance to read these reviews, please give me your input. Thanks! :)

Sonar hands down.

Majority of that shot with the Sonar and yeah I am much more partial to Zeiss as they have a beautiful classic rendering to them. Leica's are punchy but Zeiss are renowned for their look :)
