Sonar hands down.

http://www.stevehuffphoto.com …the-m9-by-patrick-conaty/ (external link)

Majority of that shot with the Sonar and yeah I am much more partial to Zeiss as they have a beautiful classic rendering to them. Leica's are punchy but Zeiss are renowned for their look :)

Thanks Shawn. I just put in a order at Adorama & they gave me a discount on a used mint condition 50 Sonnar 1.5. I called them personally to inquire and confirmed the condition. :) Woohoo! Now, I must think of a wide angle lens. :)

Congrats!

What about the 28mm Elmarit? It's gotten some pretty good reviews and seems to be an alright balance of price/speed though it's f2.8.

I'm still considering the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f1.1 as my 50mm on the Leica... just has such nice bokeh!

Example on the M8:

Everyone has such great pano shots! I should give that a try sometime. It sounds simple to do, but I'm sure it's difficult to master.

Thanks Omar. :)

Based on everything I've read about this lens, I know the buyer's remorse will vanish with the first image I take with it. But for now I have the guilt. :( I can't imagine how that will feel when I buy a 5D Mk III, lol. It would probably be 10x worse.

I'm going to check selling prices of used 70-200 2.8IS Mk I to determine how much to sell mine for. It's only two and a half years since I purchased it and in excellent condition. I might get a good value.

Im the same as you. Ask Mayra. I get huge buyers remorse. I can spend 2K on here with out a thought. But spending it on myself and it doesnt feel good. Take me sometime to get over it. Same with you i see :D

Trying to have a nice chill Friday - the joy of management not being able to decide what to do next ;)

Probably sometime in the sprint after our bonuses and some stock stuff I'm thinking.

Awesome man. I never have the pleasure of management not having a decision made. THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING

Cant wait to see your impressions after the jump!
