Wait what? You guys have to pay to tether devices down there? That's one thing we lobbied for up here and won is free data tethering that comes with our data plans. When I travel I keep my MBP tethered to my iPhone all the time as I've got a 6gb data plan I get raped every month for.

Yes shawn its pure stupidity. Ive been running tethering and haven't received that message from ATT. However, how i choose to use the data is not ATT business. Its like having a broadband connection at home with a router then having the cable company say i have to pay more because im using my paid service wireless?

Not completely naked ;)

Cause eating maple taffy is more fun for little kids. And I've been tasting the syrup all along.

Im the same as you. Ask Mayra. I get huge buyers remorse. I can spend 2K on here with out a thought. But spending it on myself and it doesnt feel good. Take me sometime to get over it. Same with you i see

Yep, it's easier to spend on someone else than myself, especially a significant other.

First batch of syrup is almost ready for jars

Pics! :D

I luuuuuuuuuuuurve Maple Syrup The real deal too, not this mass produced crap. I have my connections up in the North

I agree, I only like pure maple syrup. Artificial syrups available in grocery stores and served in most restaurants and diners are disgusting. I believe artificial pancake/waffle syrups cannot be labeled "maple syrup" legally.

From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maple_syrup (external link)):

Maple syrup is graded according to the Canada, US or Vermont scales based on its density and translucency. Syrups must be at least 66 percent sugar to qualify as "maple syrup" in Canada; in the US, any syrup not made almost entirely from maple sap cannot be labeled as "maple".

Cross border smuggler!!!

Jill-of-all-Trades wrote in post #12044792 (external link)
I've never been asked if I had any maple syrup with me when I crossed the boarder. And it doesn't fit in the firearms or tobacco categories.

I've never been asked about maple syrup crossing the border either. It should be legal. I mean, they sell it at the duty-free store right at the border crossing!

The state of Vermont produces maple syrup, so it is available in the U.S. Maple syrup from Canada is also imported to the U.S. But I prefer buying directly there. Melody might disagree, but maple syrup from Québec is the best! ^_^

I make superb french toast and fluffy pancakes. Can't go wrong with pure, fresh, maple syrup...

could drink it right out of the bottle

Aaargh, you're making me crave all of that! Lol. I can drink maple syrup out of the bottle as well. :D

Jill-of-all-Trades wrote in post #12044792 (external link)
Who can wait for the bottle? Right out of the pot!!

I envy you!!
