Bikes are very convenient in the way that you can go most anywhere, but they are hard to store. Rollerblades can be taken anywhere but can't go everywhere. That's why I have both And I have a bike carrier so I can take my bike with me on road trips.Oh i dont mind taking it up the stairs at all. I really like the lock out feature on the shocks. Shocks are great on rough terrain but I hate the waste of energy when you're trying to accelerate and the bike just squashes down. Melody
