I like the Montague look. Looks clean and edgy. :) Get that one!

Thanks man! Now to convince Mayra about this :lol:

She is all about quality but this will increase the budget from 200 bucks to 900

Nice! I can see why it costs more. It's got SRAM parts and Juicy brakes.

Cool! Would you bike to work?

Im about a 5-6 mile ride to work. I could do it if i worked on the west side as the green way is complete there and its a straight shot down. Working on the east side makes it much more of a difficult trip.

This is the greenway. Check it out. When completed you will be able to bike all around the edge of manhattan.

http://www.nycbikemaps.com …rfront-greenway-bike-map/ (external link)

As you can see on the map the eastern side is not a complete swing down town. The blue line represents the break point. That makes it difficult for me.

I want to do the whole ride one day :D

Thanks Alex. Thats the only foldable one i would get. Lots of hipsters in down town own a variation of the others. Not for me

Thats the catch with roller blades. Great for an hour or so but not practical. A bike you can ride all day on and go very far distances.

Yeah, rollerblades are more for fun than for transportation. I can't imagine going rollerblading in the middle of New York. It sounds suicidal! It's one thing in the suburbs, but a different story in the city.

Good option for the camera strap users!

I use a black rapid sports strap. Love that thing!

That's one I am considering to buy! The R-Strap is neat in general, but the Sports version adds that connector for stability and prevent sliding.

Have you ever used your Black Rapid in conjunction with a backpack (or other camera carrying bag)? I wonder if it would get in the way. I know that usually, using the R-Strap you don't carry anything else with you. But I might want to have a backpack to carry additional lenses (etc.) and still use the R-Strap instead of a neck strap, say, for a photography day-trip.

Just when I say it must be suicidal to bike in New York, lol... Biking by the waterfront sounds fun!

I've used my R-strap with a backpack before. I put the R-strap on first, then the backpack. Backpack covers the strap in the back but allows it to be free in the front. If I use the chest strap on the backpack I just make sure I buckle it under the r-strap.

It works, it just takes a little shifting to get everything sitting right. Depends on how everything fits to begin with. Comfier than a neck strap and easier than trying to get those straps that attach to the backpack.

That's how exactly I use mine when I carry my backpack. :)
I'm considering selling my r4 for the sport edition, it fastens better.
