hi Mel,
You and Martin can laugh it up. My Ford is getting ready to throw another plug.

I have been driving it like I stole it. i am going to try to send this one through the hood

Ps, Do you do long distance engine work on the side for poor people

I thought you got that all taken care of :)

Sure, I'll do work on the side. How many hours do I have to drive to get down there?

Hey I really had a " mechanic" tell me to JB weld a set of 100,000 mile plugs in there.
I thought I was going to smack him.
Not to mention he wanted to use the best plugs possible........ Bosch. On my motorcraft ignition system.

I thought this was all taken care of too. the Mechanic in Philly did not replace the other 7 plugs he just tightened them.
there are 2 different style plugs for this engine. Some are threaded all the way and others are not. If he would have changed the plugs to the full threaded once and put never seize on then I would not have this issue.

I am half tempted to get the Time Sert Kit and do it myself.

okay geeks here is a question for you.

What advantages do the quad core processors hold over a dual core.
in everyday use and photo processing?

Big boost because photo editing is CPU intensive. The better the CPU the faster the processing. So go quad core.

26 hours to drive 1500 miles? I would think about 18-20 hours of highway driving.

Yeah, rollerblades are more for fun than for transportation. I can't imagine going rollerblading in the middle of New York. It sounds suicidal! It's one thing in the suburbs, but a different story in the city.

Dang, that is hot!

That's one I am considering to buy! The R-Strap is neat in general, but the Sports version adds that connector for stability and prevent sliding.

Have you ever used your Black Rapid in conjunction with a backpack (or other camera carrying bag)? I wonder if it would get in the way. I know that usually, using the R-Strap you don't carry anything else with you. But I might want to have a backpack to carry additional lenses (etc.) and still use the R-Strap instead of a neck strap, say, for a photography day-trip.

 I used to roller blade on the streets and down hills with traffic when I was younger. Ask me if I would do it now? No I know I'm mortal now

Alex, Mark and Nick got me into using the black rapids. Best decision ever! I'm the only one with the sport one since it's new and they both agreed that's the best one to own now. We all use the black rapid with a bag so it doesn't get in the way. I use a lowepro 220aw? I think that's the name. But once you use a black rapid you will never go back. I tell everyone to get it.

I am going to order this weekend. I just need to decide on my hard drive. I was thinking about the 128 GB SSD and adding a 750 gb 7200 in the optic bay
Ill go with with the 2.2 GHz quad core and the antiglare screen.
I think I can upgrade the ram cheaper myself if I think it needs it.

What is your geekbench?
