Alex when i post stuff, i give very few details and i don't go out of my way to accommodate a buyer,

the more you offer the more they take advantage and the more they ask and the less they offer.

post up pics, post the date code, find a high and low price and find a price your comfortable with in the middle, priced high takes longer,

lower it sells faster. sell it to an impulse buyer rather than someone you hold hands with,

your not making friends your selling a lens. your probably best off selling it on a local craigslist ;)

hahaha spoken like a very experienced Old Man

These are the sort of advice that I always hear from parents

That's an option I've considered also. I kinda felt like I could start building feedback on the sell forum here, but it's not really necessary. Local through Craigslist is more convenient for both me and the buyer. There's also eBay, but I have never done eBay in my life. I already have an idea how much I want to sell it for. I'll figure out the rest in the next couple of days. :)

I just remembered I could also post on the bulletin board at work. I know there are a lot of photography enthusiasts in my office. I might get lucky. Talk about practical, I'd just need to bring it to work, lol.

ebay gets difficult because of buyer protection, some goof buys your lens and 30 days later he can say "there's something wrong and he gets his money back

now your out money and time because he had remorse, sell local for cash, see you later end of story

there was a good story posted here about a mk3, buyer was happy , best camera, condition, blah blah, 30 days later says it's no good and seller had to repay

problem is the seller bought a new camera and had no money to repay and ended up in debt, buyers can be weird

Woot, my Harmony 1100 is setup!

Just waiting on my PS3 adapter to come and then my setup will be complete!

Down to 1 remote now, not 5!

Nope, but it's still awesome :p

It's nice too, you get it all setup on the computer, versus trying to manage the retarded menus that most universal remotes have.

Oh wow. That doesn't sound right but I guess people can take advantage of stuff like that that are supposed to protect honest people. Anyway, reading that got me scared off eBay, lol. I will do local or through here. Thanks guys. :)
