Yup. I've seen enough fried computers in my lifetime to know better. There is a reason why I wear a static strap when working with a vehicle's computers. Even when removing a cluster. I don't have the free cash sitting around to risk that kind of stuff.

is there a good reason why there's so much fried computers around your area? I have not yet seen one in my life time. I have about 15 computers in my 3 stores, and some have been running for almost 6 years with no ground/avr/ups and so far I have not had any issues except for 1 that had the cpu replaced.

I also want to point out try new Verizon HTC thunderbolt 4G LTE is amazingly fast I favored it over my home internet :)
