I am thinking of using one of these on a bracket that will keep the flash over my camera and then fabricate an extension which will hold a fill flash over to my left (with, say a mini softbox modifying its light).

My idea is that this would be a very portable outfit for shooting females using paramount or butterfly lighting.
OR... Do you think that this "beauty dish" is too small for that purpose.
If so, has anyone seen plans for fabricating a "beauty dish" from a portable hotshoe flash...
