Nice looking carbine, its a shame you have the AWB laws to deal with, but that is a nice setup regardless.

Good pic, nice lighting.

Thanks stick. They are getting crazy with stuff as of late around here, hopefully it's just a passing storm.

JTX, thanks bro! I've got 12 years left, then I may join you. I love Texas!

Nice shot!

Seriously though, I thought you "subjects" up in NY state couldn't own .22 rifles that shoot 55 gr. bullets with "assault weapon" sized magazines. Aren't those magazines reserved for folks who live in the "free" states?:lol::lol:

Again, a nice photo of a nicely done EBR ("Evil Black Rifle").

BTW . . . long time fan of the Holosights here! Field tested and proven for sure!!!

It's a Colt 6920 AR-15. One of my favorites.

Thanks! I don't live in NYC, so I'm still able to have "some"fun stuff, basically when the AWB ended for everyone else, they kept it going in NYS. But like a buddy of mine says, "I cant wait to retire and move to America."

Thats 12 years too long. Im guessing its service or job related. I give you credit for sticking it out if it pays off in the long run. I've been gone 11 years and never regretted it.

Funny thing is, in sept I will be in the area again on a long road trip for several weeks. Should be fun. NYC,DC,PA,VT,ME,CT...etc Wife is from TX and never seen that part of the country. i will be posting pics along the route.

Looks like the MT6400C, or at least that appears to be the barrel its using. The LE6920 uses a standard A2 FS and comes with the bayonet lug. Did you swap parts out?

Actually stick I think your correct. Unfortunately here all rifles are made to be NY compliant even if they don't show up that way.(pinned stock, no flash hider, muzzle brake permanently attached). I honestly wasn't even aware Colt had the MT6400 made. When I bought it it was labeled 6920, so I just assumed they had changed the stock parts on it to make it legal. Good to know. Though I cant complain, it hasn't given me any issues over the few years I've owned it, always goes bang.

Yeah, it is what it is, but I'll definitely leave when I can. I've had enough as it is.

You'll have a great time on the road trip. I did one with my girl 3 years ago, from here down through the south and then through the southwest all the way to cali. Best trip I've done so far.

I used to live in the area where you are, but not NYC so I am familiar with your situation. I plan on hitting Long Island too.
