I think the shot would look better if it did not have the 12ga round. Other than that I like it.

Cool photo, but I too would prefer it without the 12ga round.
Maybe prop it up with a single round standing on it's end, around where the safety or slide release is, or just use the ammo box (tying in the caliber, to the pic)

Everyone always uses a shotgun shell for a prop on a pistol but I've never been a fan. Looks cropped a little tight for my taste, but overall a pretty nice picture  and a sweet little butt kicker for the wife!

Thanks for the comments! I was looking for something to prop the gun up at a good angle and couldn't find anything that would do the trick/look right. I remembered seeing someone use a shotgun shell and the comments that followed, but for a lack of any better ideas (roll of quarters, magic marker, salt shaker) I thought the shotgun shell was my best bet. I'll think of something better when my Glock comes in ;-)a The crop is close because I did a rotated crop due to the original's odd angle. I ended up losing a little more than I wanted to.

As for the gun itself, it is a nice little gun. My wife and I are new shooters, and we did very well with the rental we tried.

Thanks again for the comments!

Kudos on shooting before buying and buying what you shot well rather than what seems to be the most popular.......

Nice photo by the way. and again not fan of shot shell

As far as a prop goes, I usually use one of a variety of knives. I have to side with the others about the crop too as the top of the back sight is cut. Still a good overall composition with the mag and extra ammo.

Nice photo. I was so close to picking one of these up but got a FNP9 instead.

That FNP9 looks like a nice gun. Didn't see one at the range when we were renting. We almost got his & hers SR9C's but I decided on a Glock 19 instead. Still waiting for it to come in (3 weeks so far...killing me!).

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone. I'm planning a re-shoot once my Glock comes in. Already thinking of alternatives to the shell ;)
