i've never seen a flying Super Connie before! only saw one that was on a stick in Toronto.

It's been some decades since I last saw one in the air. I think I've been on one back at the dawn of time.

Nice catch there Phil. Way back in another lifetime on a stormy December night, I crossed the North Atlantic in one of those. Still a vivid memory.

My Daddy was an electronics airborne officer on the Naval version, WV-2 in the mid-sixties. His squadron was flying part of the DEW line. From Newfoundland- Iceland and England. Still love the Willy-Victors.

I used to sit on my grandmother's back porch (SSF) and watch them as they climbed out of SFO.

Great pics of one of the most beautiful aircraft ever to take flight. I would love to have seen her.
