i thought so, was either that or Avalon but the mountains are a little to big for Avalon :)

Nice catch there Phil. Way back in another lifetime on a stormy December night, I crossed the North Atlantic in one of those. Still a vivid memory.

My Daddy was an electronics airborne officer on the Naval version, WV-2 in the mid-sixties. His squadron was flying part of the DEW line. From Newfoundland- Iceland and England. Still love the Willy-Victors.
