You will probably get a response Monday. If your having problems just give them a call and I'm sure you can do a checkout over the phone or troubleshoot the online cart.

I don't work for PCB I just was over there this past week when making some purchases.

There are other PML's available besides PCB ones. Adoroma and Cheetah stand have same quality ones available.

If you want a quick response call PCB, they are slow to return emails for some reason, but are great on the phone.

And how do you know they're all the same quality? Have you compared samples from each supplier? The Buff PLMs, not only have a radically different design than the others, they're also sourced from a different manufacturer.

You might also want to add Westcott to your list:

The Westcott has an Elinchrom-friendly 7mm shaft. In the UK, Cotswold and Viewfinder also sell PLM variants.

There is currently 3$ difference between the Westcott, and the White+Black outer, PCB PLM.

Ehhh... I'd tilt towards the Westcott personally, they have a good rep towards build quality afaic.

Wonder if anyone's done any direct comparisons... i imagine they'll come soon enough.

That 7' visico octo i have, has to go. Its far too heavy and massive.

I have the first version of the 86" PCB White & 86" Cheetah Silver PML's. Both have the same white fiberglass ribbing (16) and come in a cheap umbrella carrying case. My friend has both the PCB & Flashpoint 86" PML silver from Adorama and I really couldn't tell the difference. His PCB one broke... so he bought the Flashpoint one. He bought the "white diffusion front from PCB" and it works with his Flashpoint PML perfectly.
