Ok so this is not funny, yet i feel like a fool. When i open my RAW images in adobe camera raw its so easy, i just click on the white ballance dropper, click on something that i know is white and then wallaaa!!, my picture magically comes to life with realistic tones of colour.
Now my problem is in my last shoot, i forgot to shoot in RAW. I only have jpegs. Now the mission is trying to find the white ballance dropper??? Where the heck is it? I tried using the droppers from the curves setting but that is a white point dropper and not a white ballance dropper. It washes out my picture. Also looked at the colour ballance settings but there is no dropper. I have to slide all those slides untill i can figure it out. So difficult.
So where is the white balance dropper in photoshop like the one in adobe camera RAW?
Thank you

Just open your Jpegs in ACR, and use the same tools you already know.

Well also depending on what version of photoshop you do have. I think newer versions of photoshop (CS-3 and higher) allows you to open jpegs in camera raw from adobe bridge that is.

You can also use the Curves or Levels adjustment layer and the neutral dropper.

For a Jpeg, I would use the Levels adjustment eyedroppers to set all 3.

Find something in the image that's 128 +/-10 and use it for the WB
I set my blacks 15, +/-10 and whites to 240, +/-10
