I am going to be doing a photoshoot for a friend soon and I need to find a wheat field in Western Washington. Does anyone know of one? Please let me know!

Thanks!

I'm accross the canal just south of Ballard, the town Seattle usurped in 1907.

In western washington? Tulips, corn, dairy farms, trees, that's about it. You'd be better off going to open public lands in your area during the spring and summer to find a wild grass field. Winter, not so much.

Wheat's more on the other side of the state. Good luck finding something that meets your needs. It's gonna be pretty wet and muddy for a while.

I know a place with some tall grass that looks kind of like wheat. If you need actual wheat it is no good, but if you just need to half-hide your model in some tall wheat/grass like stuff it should work.

It is called the Green River Natural Resource Area.

In the map at the bottom you could either try the West Meadow area (have to stay on the paths, but by shooting across corners you can make it look like the model is in the grass when they aren't). There is a parking lot along Russell Road for this location.

You could also actually put the model in the tall grass south of "Powerline Trail" since that is not a protected area of the park. The best place for that is exactly where the words "Constructed Wetland" appears on the map (not where the arrow points). For that you will want to use the parking space on 226th. It is right where Powerline Trail meets 226th near 64th. It holds 2 cars only, but I have never had trouble getting one of the spots.
