I'm a working class boy so i don't really pick up the broad sheets. But i normally prefer the shots i see in them on the rare occasion i have hold of one.

Thing is, most photographers go through an agency so you see much of the same across the papers

I don't know what good composition is.... Sometimes for me composition has to do with a certain brightness or a certain coming to restness and other times it has to do with funny mistakes. There's a kind of rightness and wrongness and sometimes I like rightness and sometimes I like wrongness. Diane Arbus

I have always loved the pictures that are published in the Independent. Don't know why but they always seem to capture the mood of the moment really well. I work for a newspaper myself but our pictures are mainly of fluffy cats and local residents disgrruntled at their wheelie bin collection service.

The new style Guardian has the whole of the centre spread with just one large photojournism shot and a small caption. I love photos that tell me pretty much the whole story and to publish such a huge shot every day speaks volumes on the power of photography.

EOS300d, Battery Grip, EF-S18-55, 70-200/4L, 75-300, 50/1.8, 24-70 DGEX Macro, EX550, Slik 88, EX150 Studio Flash, MiniTrekker

I like the Guardian in general. :) That new photo centre spread sounds really cool.
