what body for £1000

if i already have good glass, i would probably get a 5d classic

And the question about lenses is valid too.

But something in the xxD, xD range would possibly be the best choice if you wanted a good body.

On that note though, you can possibly obtain the same results with a rebel, unless you use a FF sensor and make use of the reduced depth of field.

Do you mean you want to spend the whole £1000 or do you wish to choose a camera under that price? For not considerably more than a grand, you could buy a 7D.

In order to receive useful advice, you really need to supply more information. Also, especially as you're an established member here, you could read about the various cameras and users' comments on this forum. At the end of the day, no matter how much diverse advise you receive, the choice must be yours.

I just went from a 300D to a 5D and wish id done it years ago. If I was you id spend £550 - £650 on a good second hand 5D and put the rest of your £1000 towards some nice L glass
