I love it. It's the kind of thing I would love to see hanging in an obstetrician/doula/midwife's office, something like that. It's soothing and peaceful. Do you sell much? I'd go commercial with that, or something like it. I can picture it on canvas. Maybe a quad set of different angles in different colours?

Thanks for the comments, I haven't sold any images as yet but know i will get there.....

It was lit with my only light, a nissin Di622 flash in a lastolite easy box hotshoe 30" directly behind and slightly above so its not in shot.

Can't wait to try all the newborn photos I have in mind now......

Many thanks

Another from the shoot, this one had a little Photoshop done but only to clone out a small tattoo and a mole, other than that it's pretty much straight out of camera

Another very beautiful shot - these two represent photos that go beyond just capturing a memory, and seem to be an artistic statement in themselves. I'm jealous!

Thanks, I wanted to get something that captured the artistic side and also a memory as once I get some newborn shots would like to get a set printed to go in the hallway and didn't really want anything graphic going on the wall if you know what i mean....

Take as many pics as you can before the delivery... You never know what might appeal to both you and your wife later, and it's difficult (lol) to get back to that pregnant state... Really like the curves in the first shot, though a little more light might make the shot even a bit more intriguing. Good luck on your impending arrival and all the best to you, your wife and your unborn child.
