Hi folks,
I am looking for a broken Canon 17-85mm USM lens that has one or both of the following problems:
1) The zoom is locked into one position (usually occurs down at the 17mm range).
2) The lens has a errors with a problem communicating with the camera.
If you have one of these but don't want to spend the money to get it fixed and it is just sitting there, please contact me with the price you would like for it. I would like to get this lens, but can't afford to buy a working one and would like to give a try at fixing one. I don't want to spend a lot on a broken one either, because if I can't fix it, I don't want to be out a lot.
Would prefer to get one from Canada but would consider the US as well.
