After reading this thread I ordered the Gravity Trading messenger bag from Amazon. I had been reading all over the internet for weeks searching for a bag that would fit my preferences, so I was eager to try it out. I ordered this insert: http://www.ebay.com …1497.l2649#ht_4591wt_1015 Inside the bag- bottom right: 200mm f/2.8L Top right: Kenko extension tubes. Kenko 1.4x TC , 50mm f/1.4 Middle section: 40D + Sigma (10-20. 40D + 200mm + TC fits perfectly) IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/68477543@N05/7166624504/ IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/68477543@N05/7166626682/ Bag in "Speed draw mode". Folded the lid once and tucked it in behind the insert. Works great in situations where the camera goes in and out of the bag a lot. IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/68477543@N05/7166649602/ IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/68477543@N05/7166662280/ The ipad fits in the backpocket, but the velcro does not close. IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/68477543@N05/7166653778/ Ipad fits easily between the back of the bag and the insert. Right by the hip might not be the best place to put an Ipad, but it fits anyhow. IMAGE LINK: http://www.flickr.com …/68477543@N05/7166665826/ Thanks again guys!

Thanks to you guys my endless search for a fitting bag is finally over Took some photos to show you how it looks with the insert. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5036/7166639580_77a19e414b_z.jpg Inside the bag- bottom right: 200mm f/2.8L Top right: Kenko extension tubes. I didn't order the bag yet, in case I didnt like the size/dimensions of the insert. However, upon its arrival yesterday and loading it with my gear, it's perfect! I could deal with it being a tad bit shorter, but it fits everything nicely, which my old bag did NOT. I just stuck it into a plain canvas messenger bag that I had laying around to try it out. It fits really well. I may just alter the messenger bag to add some clips or something (since it doesnt have a zipper closure, or any real secure method of closing the flap), and keep using it. I'll add some pics later on. Thanks for all the advice here! http://www.flickr.com/photos/drocpsu

This is my first post and just wanted to say I read this entire thread and ended up buying a Rapid Dominance messenger bag (black), and an insert from ebay. I really like both the bag and the insert.
