Very simply and elegant pic!

Did you have to do some PP to remove the water edge to make it smoothly flow into the background?

Also I tend to do all mine as a completely central crop, but I like this off-centre crop, works nicely here

Yes, slight water edge was visible in the original pic which was removed in pp.

Yeh, that's the problem with "low down" shots, though they do look cool. Nice clean drop shots in your link!
