Last Wrestling of the Year - C&C Wanted

Well, it finally ended for myself and my boys. Our last tournament was this past Sunday and it was great. We stayed overnight at a hotel with the team. The team took over the hotel, pool and restaraunt.

Everyone had a great time. Especially the parents. The facebook photos are quite interesting. Glad I am NOT in any of them!

We had multiple boys place 1st, 2nd or 3rd. My boys both placed 2nd in their weight classes. I have about 12 images, I'll post 8 then later on today I may post the rest.

All with the 1d classic, sigma 70-200mm 2.8. Canon 580 EX on camera. SS was 1/500th, iso was 500. All are cropped for web.

Red mats are a pain to shoot on. I forgot how much I could not stand dealing with the color cast. Anyways, let me know what you think. On to baseball and soccer shooting from her on out.

The leg cradle that you captured in #4 is quite rare, and especially in that age group. You'll see maybe one of those every couple of years.

20dgrappler, he is a very good wrestler. He told me before the match he was going to do that and smile at me.

I missed the smile, but still got the shot. I just this past Saturday printed that image for his dad to hang in his trophy room. 13*19. Came out beautiful. Amazing that a 4mp camera can still produce such amazing images.

I love the 1d and could never go back to anything below that.
