Canon 30D 40D etc?

Has there been any rumors that a new 30d or new coming out? It's been a Year since the 20d been out.. Should something be coming out by the $1500 range?

Would appear that Canon has made all of their fall announcements. As grego says, probably nothing until next spring unless their competition were to come out with something that would make them expedite their plans.

The 20D is still a hot seller for Canon for and I wouldn't expect them to inhibit this in any way now with such a short release and selling time before Christmas.


My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Maybe but Canon doesn't seem to have a lot to be worried about. Olympus has done NOTHING since their rather auspicious launch of the E-1. They seem to be targeting the prosumer market right now. Noink? Well the D200 is interested but well more than the current 20D and I don't even hear Noink fans getting excited about it.

Hummmmmmm.....
