Hi, I am looking to get a gallery section on my own website and wondered what you all thought the best one to use would be or should I just create one with Photoshop??

I dont have a need for different categories just yet but may need them in the future, I don't want it to use flash aaa I want access to it via my iPad and ideally would like to just upload the images in a predefined size to my FTP folder for ease??

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Alvezz

It kind if depends on what your current website is like.

At the basic level of just showing pictures from a folder you could do that with a script (if you know how to code). It gets a bit more convoluted when you start adding categories etc.

It is really easy to use. The paid version is only $40 and has a LOT of more control. Play with the free version first though. That will give you a great feel for it...

lightroom has a few HTML galleries wich I find are pretty good, as you can control the quality etc.

either do a direct FTP upload, or stick it in an iframe :)
