What's up with these mods?

So I made a thread today to sell a nifty fifty. And after about 6 posts on the thread I announce a price drop and a mod pm'd me and said announcing the price drop was uncalled for and he deleted my posts. Am I the only one who thinks that's dumb?

Probably. Did you read through the rules of posting an ad? Even thought you're new, you still have to follow the rules. You replied to your own ad several times. A simple edit in the original post is all that's needed. So you were either trying to up your post count or bump your ad. BTW, bumping is not allowed.
