This summer, I did a backpacking trip to Yosemite in which I spent the night on top of Cloud's Rest. I had experienced the most beautiful scenery that I have seen, especially during sunset and in the morning.
Here are some pictures, posted in the chronologically order that they were taken.

At this point, I retreated to the tent with some disappointment; it was cold and windy and it seemed as though it was too overcast for any colors. Then, suddenly, incredible colors broke through the clouds -- just before sunset dipped into the horizon-- and I ran out of the tent and set up my tripod and grabbed the following two shots.

Beautiful shots! I'll be going to Yosemite in April for a climbing trip. I haven't been up to Cloud's Rest but your shots have moved it up on my list for a return trip!

Did you use HDR for any of these shots?

Great shots.
I am not familiar with the lenses you refer to.

Beautiful shots. A different look from the normal (yet wonderful) Yosemite shots.

Incredible, beautiful shots. Number 3 is just amazing. I know you said you didn't do any HDR, but number 4 looks a little pushed to my eye, but it could also be my monitor. But I could stair at #3 all day.
