Looks like a bit of the classic Canon red-channel smearing that confounds me.

Well, where did you buy your copy of 85 from? Coz. your kid may not like where you got it from! Can you still return it? :lol:

Seriously though, I hear ya! Very difficult to photograph these little wonders!

Maybe one day there will be an "IS" that compensates for it! :D

85 1.8 is really great. Imo its the best non L lens Canon makes.
