I am having problems setting the AF lock on CF.FNIII

What I want to do is use the back or grip AF-ON to focus and lock the AF on the shutter release button, the manual says CFNIII function 3. but option 3 is AF point selection method? which option do I use?

I think I found it , CFNIV and option 1 #3.
