Just got a correspondance from Abobe in the mail. Since I bought Elements 9, for a very limited time, I can buy Photoshop CS5 for $299. Save $400.

I jumped on it. :):):)

Just wondering if anyone else has received an offer.

I have LR3 and Elements 6. I was hoping it was a discount for Elements 9, but no luck there.

Isn't there an upgrade option from E6 to 9? Though, Elements is pretty inexpensive as it is so there's not much to discount. I think I paid 79 for E8 the end of last summer.

Considering that on the mac side it comes with full blown version of ACR and of course Bridge, its a steal as is.

I go the same offer several years ago (Elements 7) and took it to get CS4. Since I belonged to NAPP there was a discount through that for another 15%, so it only cost $260.

No, I don't think they sell an upgrade versions. All I've ever seen is rebates from Adobe, if you basically buy from them. This brings the price down to what you can get it from SAM'S or Walmart. So I live with E6 until there is something that I just have to have. E9 is almost there. But I spend 95% of my processing time in LR3.

I know what you mean about 95% in LR. Same here, only mine is probably 98%. However, when this CS5 arrives I think it will get much more attention than my Elements 9 got.

I have had Elements 9 for a few months. I guess I got this offer for $299 on CS5 because I registered the Elements product when I bought it. The Adobe guy made several references to me having Elements 9.
