Some of these were shot with a point and shoot so if the quality is a bit off thats most likely why.

Let me know what you all think and don't be afraid to be brutally honest! :)

Moderator's Note: I unapproved your attachments after the first 2 because the IMAGE POSTING RULES allow only 8 embedded or 2 attached per thread. Please embed your images from a host like flickr or photobucket. That way you can put all 8 up. Keep the first 2 as attachments if that is easier. Let me know if you don't have a way to do the embedding.

And if you're looking for a meaningful critique, its best to pick one or two images that you think are good and post them up. Posting too many will not really result in a good critique.

These are very nice -- good job. I really like the contrast in the B&W and the whole feel and mood of the color image.

From a technical standpoint, the shadows in #2 are a bit dark. I worked with the image in PSE and there is quite a bit of detail there, just needs to be brought out. I think you probably did some post processing on that one because there is a bit of a "glow" around the mountain tops.

Thanks to those who have posted. I had a feeling posting too many wasn't a good thing but I wasn't sure. It's nice to hear what you guys think, and was surprised at how positive it all was. THANKS!

1) color would be good; the clouds on the top left seem artificial including the road though the picture is sharp!
2)Nice pic, but too much black and contrast; cloud shadows show it the most

Fabulous captures, the second one has a nice 3d effect on it.

(B&W) I like the contrast and the result. Looks rustic.
(Color Image) The photo is interesting enough, however I think the post processing is over cooked. For example, the hills and clouds have halos and all the colors are over saturated for my taste.

Mark.
