Gentlemen please, "NO" OT comments, especially those that would lead to a political discussion.
You might note there have been some deletions here.
Please enjoy the photography, and leave all other thoughts of why, or why not at the door.

Mark, That was perfect timing, and an outstanding shot. ;)

I didn't really see it as OT, it was all based off of a photo someone post. If anything I think it's a good thing for people to be informed as to why it may or may not be a bad idea to own and shoot AP rounds.

At the same time I could see it as getting out of hand and should be talked about via PM or one could search with google to find the answers they are looking for.

If it's not about the photography, it's Off Topic. Is that clear enough?

The smoker gun is great!

It ALSO shows you why you have to be careful with those. And grease up the chambers so they dont all go off at once !

Everyone should have one now, with the politics going on in the US. That might be all thats left!

Actually it is quite tame. But we were only shooting 350 grains. Had the big hogue grips on it, so they buffer well.

Thanks very much to all of you.

I've seen lots of images where the bullet is in flight exiting the muzzle, but never one where it was still in the bore. To be honest, it is just a lucky frame when I was shooting in High Speed Continuous with a Canon 5D III.

This is the full size image that produced the crop that you kindly commented on:

This is a fun image to view larger on Flickr, where you can really see the flinch of all the shooters / reenactors, especially the 2nd shooter from the left, where his flash-pan really illuminates his face.
This was at Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts:

Also taken on that same day was this image:
