Nice shot Don. It's amazing that it has stood up to the elements so well.

Really neat that you found this and were able to take a picture of it. Maybe there is a story there. Notice how some of the artwork is connected by lines. Must be before they had horses as no animals are drawn. Kinda looks like a map or flying saucers. :)

What a great image - I like the way the near rocks and the far mountain blend - the color on the near rocks is beautiful - the Indian art work is fascinating.

Definately a great find and nice shot! Love the indian art :) Could you tell at all what story they may have been telling?

Pamela

How funny! I wish I new the story myself. This area is littered with rock art. This location is one of the easiest places to see from the dirt road.

I really like what you did with that photo. I just got back from a trip to AZ where I took a bunch of photos of rock art, but mainly just head on. I never thought about making a landscape out of it. Its some really neat stuff. Some of it does tell a story. Took a picture of one where they were killing a bear, and another was supposed to be a breech birth scene.

Excellent find, and a nice view in the background as well. :D I imagine you had to hike a fair piece to find this? ;)
