As the title says, I'm not certain but think this is an Eastern Wood-Pewee. I am not good at identifying all the very similar flycatchers. Feel free to jump in and correct me if I am wrong.

I found these images in a folder along with others that I had forgotten about and never published. Taken in August of 2008.

Hey, I wish I could open an old folder and find shots like this. Top notch as usual, the green BG really adds to the photos.

Beautiful shots Harvey but this is an Eastern Phoebe. You can tell it's a juvenile by the yellow gape and the wingbars. My guess is it was shot late summer or early fall.

I believe that Chubri777 is correct. It's easy to confuse. but the wood pewee has a lighter lower mandible while the Eastern Phoebe has a solid black bill. Your photo confirms Phoebe...might be a juvenile.
