If you wanted to get the whole pie, you need a smaller aperture, which probably means that you also need a tripod. Joe

Thanks for your input, I'll keep that in mind next time. I think I got too focused on the pepperoni and stopped thinking about the whole pie. Im thinking you could have turned the pizza so that piece of pepperoni in the back that is near the edge, could be on the front, then moved your focus more to the front. Let the mostly bread part be in the back and out of focus a bit.
