Sorry, I haven't been around much over the last couple months. I got a new (used) camera and the 17 MP's were choking my computer. After rebuilding my computer and going through a learning curve I'm finally getting the hang of it again. Here's a shot from this morning. 7 shots +/- 1EV

I like it.
It seems like the more shots included in the HDR process, the more realistic it looks.
So far I've only done 3 exposures, but I think I will start trying 5 to 7 and see how it goes.

That looks great Jon. Err, I wonder when they plan on taking down the Christmas lights? :D

It does seem that the more images used to create the bracketed set, the more realistic the final outcome is to me too. Almost all my shots are 7 exposures now.

I agree about more exposures giving a more pleasing HDR image. I just picked up a netbook to use with my 40D. I am running DSLR Remote Pro so I can get more control over how many exposures to take. It is also good for doing time lapse photography.

Looking forward to playing around a bit this weekend with it.

Al
