It certainly makes it heaps easier to get a half decent photo though when you are shooting some of the best wake boarders in the world.

Create a new black & white layer in Photoshop, then erase the black & white back down to about 20% colour over the whole picture, and then erase 100% of the black & white for the main focus point of the image.
