A face of wisdom. Nice job there Peter.

Perhaps just head and shoulders ?

Thanks.....I should have done that on the 2nd photo but the first one I wanted to capture the way she is selling her candles...she does not even have a small chair for her to sit on....They are actually more of them selling candles but she was the only one who don't persuade people to buy. But I bought candles from her. Here is the 2nd photo.

old lady selling candles in front of the Church.

Lovely series Peter. If that face doesn't tell a story, I don't know what does. I'm glad you bought some of her candles to help her out. Thank you for being kind.

Holy Cow, this thread has gone nuts!! I literally can't keep up anymore. I finally got out today and did some shooting. It really hasn't been that long since i posted here, but it's already like a zillion pages back.
My favorite pic of the last few days is Bohh's turtle. I like how you got down there on level with it and then nailed the focus right on that little yellow eyeball. Nice work!
A couple from me.

Wow Mook. The colors on the first one really pop......and now you've got me wanting Chinese food, and it's only 7 a.m. here. LOL

But.. I'm really jealous of the egret in flight. I still struggle a bit with BIF, and you really got this guy. Well Done!!!

thanks Annie! I took dozens of them to get that one. It's using a 2X extender on a 70-200 lens--so it's at 400mm. Without that thing on there I wouldn't have a chance. There are millions of egrets not far from where I live (there are tons of fish and shrimp farms), but they are incredibly alert and cautious, I find it impossible to sneak up on them.

Peter - redo of 2 is tops.

Mook - Great capture of the egret. All I ever get is blurred wings if even that.

Wow.. no wonder my friends call me the gadget queen. LOL

I'm a gadget person as well. MP3 players are on the top of the list along with headphones. I could not survive without music. From classical to jazz to hiphop and reggae, oh AND ROCK AND ROLL......!!!!

No one calls me gadget queen thank goodness......

Hard to capture bees in flight. This one's as close as I got, and it's not a good shot at all.

Hey fellow T2I owners, just attended the Scott Kelby one day seminar, Light it, Shoot it Retouch it, what a great seminar and teacher. Highly recommend it. Anyone ever here of JT for Supershooters, com he has a 5 day seminar on a ranch in Illinois and also a 2 day coarse a few months later. I figure as a newbie, the training doesn't hurt. Yes, I know trigger time to is veru important.

Welcome aboard Hollywood.... I'm new too...... this is a great group of people. Too bad the forum is so slowwwwww............... LOL
