Wooooooooo, one of my pics was featured here

And well deserved, as well as all those nice comments.

We have something here that looks like that, but I don't know what it is either.

Nice, congrats! I liked the photo when I saw it here, and now for some reason I like it even better.

Received my new lens yesterday... Sigma 10-22 f3.5 EX DC (Gawain, a great one for car shows).

I've taken all of 5 photos with it, but just enough to fall in love.

Yes, it's rotated and I see the lens flair... but I had to be quick and get back to work!

I know that anything and everything that can be wrong with this photo is..... I don't think it's fixable (although if anyone wants to try, just send me a PM and I'll try to send you the high res version).

The reason I'm posting it though is because I wanted to share the expression on this duck's face with you. If that isn't precious, I don't know what is. This critter looks like it's just about died and gone to heaven.

Lovely series Peter. If that face doesn't tell a story, I don't know what does. I'm glad you bought some of her candles to help her out. Thank you for being kind.

Thanks Annie yeah there was several of them selling candles and she was I think the oldest.

Annie that is a great expression you captured. Apart from the noise, this looks like a fine piece of work.

The noise was even worse. I've tried everything I could think of to get rid of it, without losing detail in the duck, but this (believe it or not) was the best I could come up with. Oh well. Just seeing that duck's expression makes me smile.
