It is just over 100 bucks, and powerwise is (I believe) not far behind the middle canon flash (the 430?) but doesn't support some off camera triggers and things that people who are into flashes soon start using. For indoor shots where you want to bounce a flash off the wall or a ceiling (on camera or attached to the hotshoe by a cord), however, it is very good. Mine will sometimes refuse to initially power up, and I have to "start it" a couple of times. Once it's on, though, it is dependable and is pretty quick from shot to shot. Also have the task of going through and editing 79 "keepers" from yesterday. So far, they're all looking pretty good, but there are tons of duplicates, so they can probably go. That's what happens when you have the camera set for multiple images rather than one shot.
