Not when they look this good Annie. I love how you captured the wings in this one. It looks like there is no wing membrane, just framework. Nature is so

Thanks for the positive comments everyone, the two from this morning were taken with a £5 lens I got from ebay ( soligor f/1.8 m42 mount )
Here are a few taken today with my faithful 60mm f/2.8 :)
I have been going through the back pages from this week and would just like to say thanks to everyone for the great tips and advice. I can't realy comment on anyone's photos because the all look amazing through my eyes, well done to you all old and new.
I am still fairly new to this hobby and to be honest feel a little out of place on this forum when I see all of your work, mine look OK until I look at other peoples but I feel that with the help from this forum I'm slowly improving :D

Thanks for looking.

Indeed, I am very impressed with the clarity obtained from this lens.

Sweet Sixteen?! Que paso con la Quinceañera? Haha just kidding.

Nice shots. At first I thought the white background wasn't enough contrast against a light pink dress but it gives it a nice dreamy look so I dig your choice. Your cuñada should be very happy with these.

So Lightroom is pretty useful for touch ups. I was thinking about trying this software out.

Had a lot of fun making it, looking forward to making a polished version.

I really enjoyed this version Nate and think it's already fun viewing but I ook forward to seeing what you do to it to make it better. What exactly do you think needs to be done to it?

Well I couldn't ignore all the 5 star reviews and the threads here I found discussing the greatness of the regular 100mm macro, so while I would like the L version, not at a 75% increase in price. Non-L version is on order.

Matt
Constructive criticism always welcomed.
T3i, 18-55 IS, nifty fifty, 28-135 IS, Tokina 11-16mm, 100mm macro usm.
